Eduardo Teixeira Coelho

Eduardo Teixeira Coelho (1919–2005), signaturen ETC, ETCoelho eller Martin Sièvre. Portugisisk serieskapare.

Coelho debuterade i Sempre Fixe 1936, och med början 1943 så bidrog han med serier till de portugisiska magasinet O Mosquito, för vilken han skapade bland annat westernserien "Os Guerreiros do Lago Verde" (1945), "Sigurd o Herói" (1946), "O Caminho do Oriente" (1946–1948) och "Falcão Negro" (1949). För A Formiga (systertidning till O Mosquito mer inriktad till flickor) skapade han 1946 A Moura e o Dragão, A Moura e a Fonte och A Moura e o Mar, en trilogi av magi och romantik inspirerad av moriska legender efter portugisiska muntliga traditioner.

1954 lämnade Coelho Portugal för först Spanien, sedan Frankrike, England, Frankrike igen, för att sedan sluta sin karriär i Italien där han skapade "Marino, il Santo del Titano" för AEIP Editore 1996.

I frankrike så jobbade han för Valliant (senare Pif Gadget) där han tecknade bland annat "Ragnar le Viking" (1955–1969), "Davy Crockett" (1957), "Wango" (1957–1958), "Yves le Loup" (1960–1962), "Robin des Bois" (1969–1974), "Le Furet" (1975–1976), "Erik le Rouge" (1976–1977) och "Ayak, le Loup Blanc" (1979–1983)- oftast i samarbete med Jean Ollivier eller Roger Lécureux.

Coelho tilldelades Yellow Kid Award vid Salone Internazionale del Fumetto di Lucca, 1973.
