Friends of Lulu

Från den officiella webbplatsen: "Friends of Lulu is a national nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote and encourage female readership and participation in the comic book industry."

Namnet Lulu är en referens till seriefiguren Little Lulu (Lilla Lotta), skapad av Marge Henderson.

Friends of Lulu delar ut The Lulu Awards på Comic-Con International i San Diego varje år. Två kategorier finnes: Lulu of the Year och The New Talent Award (=bästa nykomling).

Friends of Lulu röstar också in personer i Women Cartoonists Hall of Fame.
