He-Man and the Masters of the Universe är DC Comics' licensproduktion av leksaksfranchisen "Masters of the Universe".
1980-tal
I DC Comics Presents #47 från 1982 publicerades crossoverserien "From Eternia with Death!". Senare samma år fick avsnittet en fortsättning i "Fate Is the Killer", som publicerades i flera av förlagets tidningar. I båda dessa serier, som skapades av Paul Kupperberg och Curt Swan, samarbetar He-Man och Superman.
Därefter, 1982–1983, följde förlaget upp med den tredelade miniserien "Masters of the Universe" av Kupperberg och George Tuska.
Sedan 2012
Med start i juni 2012 återupptog DC licensproduktionenav franchisen. Utgivningen har därefter omfattat såväl regelbundna titlar som limited series, och även inkluderat crossovers med DC:s universum.[1]
Dessa serier har främst skrivits av Keith Giffen, Dan Abnett och Tim Seeley, medan Pop Mhan varit den mest produktiva tecknaren.
