Den belgiska äventyrsserien "Soda" skapades av Tome (manus) och Luc Warnant (bild), i samband med att Tome arbetade med "Spirou". Liksom "Spirou" är "Soda" tecknad i en halvkomisk stil, dock något snäpp mer realistiskt. Första albumet kom ut 1987 på Dupuis.
"Soda" handlar om New York-polisen David Salomon som låtsas arbeta som präst eftersom han inte vill att hans hjärtsjuka mamma ska få veta vilket farligt jobb han har.
Warnant hoppade av serien mitt i det tredje albumet och efterträddes av Bruno Gazzotti (tidigare assistent till Tome och Janry på "Spirou")
Tolv album har kommit ut på franska. En del har översatts till danska.
