GAINAX (ガイナックス), ett av japans ledande företag för tecknad film, s.k. anime, grundat i december 1984.
En hel del av deras filmer har börjat som manga eller har getts ut som manga i samband med filmproduktionen.
Utöver anime har studion även arbetat med dataspel, bokutgivning och spelfilm. Gainax har under 2015 genom bolaget "Fukushima Gainax" öppnat en studio and ett museum i Miharu, Fukushima.[1][2]
