Warner Brothers, DCs ägare, har adapterat existerande serier[2] (till exempel Watchmen[3][4]) till motion comics. Likaså har konkurrenten Marvel.[5] Andra exempel på serier som adapterats är "Batman: Mad Love", "Snobben" och "Dead Space".
