En motion comic är en hybrid av serie och animation[1], baserad på de enskilda serierutorna i en serie. Warner Brothers, DCs ägare, har adapterat existerande serier[2] (till exempel Watchmen[3][4]) till motion comics. Likaså har konkurrenten Marvel.[5] Andra exempel på serier som adapterats är "Batman: Mad Love", "Snobben" och "Dead Space".
