The Phantom, amerikansk serietidning utgiven av Charlton Comics 1969–77.

Efter att titeln varit vilande i över ett år övertog Charlton Comics utgivningen från King Comics (se The Phantom). Kings sista nummer var #28, men Charlton valde att börja sin numrering från #30 – det har alltså aldrig getts ut något #29. Bill Lignante tecknade ett sista Fantomenäventyr åt Charlton, men i övrigt var äventyren tecknade av andra.

Jim Aparo var tidningens huvudtecknare den första tiden, men de som arbetade med tidningen under längst tid var tecknaren Pat Boyette och författaren Joe Gill. Tyvärr började likheterna med originalet försvinna, och framför allt Gill & Boyettes version brukar lyftas fram som en av de allra sämsta serietidningsversionerna av "Fantomen". Under denna period innehöll tidningen oftast tre korta, sjusidiga avsnitt som på grund av sin längd aldrig blev mer än bagatellartade.

Uppenbarligen minskade försäljningen också, eftersom man från och med #60 gjorde sig av med Boyette och försökte sig på en nylansering ("The all-new Phantom"). Inledningsvis hämtade man äventyr från det italienska förlaget Fratelli Spada innan nya tecknare som Frank Bolle, Don Sherwood och Don Newton fick chansen. Framför allt Newtons version gav nytt liv figuren, men då var det redan för sent. Tidningens sista nummer blev #74.

Endast ett fåtal avsnitt av Jim Aparo har publicerats på svenska. Ett äventyr av Don Newton publicerades under 2006 med anledning av Fantomenseriens 70-årsjubileum.
